Golden Age Center at a Glance
We love our Community!
Today the Golden Age Center provides meals 5 days a week, a transit service 5 days a week to Canon City, Florence and Penrose. They have numerous activities and groups that meet each week and serving 420 members in the community. They are proud to be part of such a wonderful community and hope to continue to not only serve the seniors but the community as a whole for many generations to come.
Making A Difference
Currently, there are no events at the GAC due to COVID-19. Check back soon for updates.
With this initiative, our goal is to provide good tasting, nutritious lunches to our seniors. In partnership with Upper Arkansas Area Agency of Aging, our lunch staff is one of the best around. The staff and volunteers serve your meal at your seat and cleans up. These aren't your normal 'senior' meals!! Lots of fellowship - come and give it a try. If you are over age 60, the cost is $3.00. Due to COVID-19, we are only able to do grab & go meals. No dining in.
