FREMONT COUNTY TRANSIT

The Fremont County Transit is a service the GAC is proud to provide to the Fremont County community. If you are needing a ride, we are ready to give you a lift!

There are so many ways to get involved with the great work that the GAC is doing. We welcome you to become a member of the GAC, make a donation, and/or consider becoming a volunteer.

The Golden Age Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation that provides services and support to seniors and others in our community. Our goal is to improve the lives of those we service and encourage the community to participate in our programs. We do this with the compassion and dedicated efforts of our employees, Board of Directors, volunteers and the community at large.

Become A Member

As a member of the Golden Age Center you help further the advancement of the mission of the GAC and you'll receive a discount on day excursions and trips. If you wish to join simply come by the office, complete a quick form and make your dues payment.

- $25 a year person

- Lifetime Memberships are $250.00 per person

Make A Donation

If you would like to make a donation to the GAC, please visit our office and speak with Assistant to the Director, Veronica Miller, who will be happy to assist you!

Become A Volunteer

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer at the GAC or with Fremont County Transit, please make an appointment to meet with the GAC Executive Director, Mack Word, for more information.

Nutrition Program

The Golden Age Center partners with the Upper Arkansas Area Council of Governments (UAACOG) who provides lunch at the GAC for anyone 60+ and has an assessment form on file with the Area Agency on Aging.
